A few steps from here then you will find the famous Piazza Anfiteatro, the best of Lucca. Walking through the medieval lanes and the Via Fillungo, with its elegant shop windows, you will reach the cathedral which houses within it the famous Volto Santo and the beautiful marble sarcophagus of dell'Ilaria Carretto, executed by Jacopo della Quercia.
